Announcements :

PEACE POSTER 2009 - 2010  Created in 1988 the Peace Poster Contest gives young people throughout the world a chance to think about World Peace and creatively express what it means to them. A different theme is selected each year and young people create a poster that reflects peace, as they see it. The contest is open to children of 11-12-13-years of age - Lions Clubs sponsor the program in their community for children in local Schools or youth groups. Axminster & District Lions Club are proud to sponsor three Schools this current year i.e. Axminster Community Primary School, Kilmington Primary School and Shute School. The posters are currently displayed in the South Street Library Axminster. The winning posters will go forwarded to the national stage.------------------------------------------------------------ NEW MEMBERS We are actively seeking new members,we currently have 18 members, Gentlemen & Lady members, we believe this gives the Club a more rounded perspective, if you or any one you know is intrested in Lions Club please email me, Lion Jamie for more information.
